Big V Tophand 12% Horse Pellets is a combination of fermentable fiber, carbohydrates, and increased fat. As a result, it provides the sequential energy release necessary to meet the requirements of actively competing mature horses. It is also suitable for pleasure-riding horses fed good quality roughage. Offers a balanced nutrition package including B vitamins to help promote and regulate several body functions. Also, added biotin to provide hoof strength and integrity. For this reason, it is designed to be fed to breeding stock, maintenance, and performance horses.

Feeding

The feeding chart is intended as a guide for feeding Tophand 12% Horse Pellets.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
Mature Horses:	Daily lbs. fed per 100 lb BW
Maintenance/Early Gestation	0.30 – 0.50
Light Work/Last 1/3 Gestation/Stallions	0.60 – 0.75
Medium Work/Lactation (3 Months – Weaning)	0.80 – 1.00
Heavy Work/Lactation (Foaling – 3 Months)	1.10 – 1.60

When feeding horses, feed with hay and/or pasture to make a complete ration. Feed 1 to 1 1/2 pounds of hay or equivalent pasture per 100 pounds of body weight day. Adjust amounts of feed according to desired body condition or performance. Feed at least twice daily, and feed changes should be made gradually. Provide good quality hay and clean fresh water at all times. Warning: This product contains added copper. Do not feed to sheep or any species with low tolerance to copper!
