Purina Game Bird Breeder Layena is a complete ration designed to help promote fertility, embryo development, egg production and chick vigor in pheasants, quail, ducks, geese, chukars, guinea hens and other exotic game birds. Purina Game Bird Breeder Layena contains a blend of vitamins and minerals to support strong egg shell production. This diet should only be fed to birds that are laying eggs. Begin feeding 2 to 4 weeks before the onset of egg production. Continue to feed during the production season. When the females stop laying eggs, switch those hens to Purina Game Bird Maintenance Chow until egg production begins again.
